A Thank You Letter

Speaking for the team at Lacrosse Extras, we are incredibly thankful and honored to have reached 10,000 followers on Instagram! Since beginning as @wpll_extras in 2019 and then transitioning to Lacrosse Extras before the 2021 college season, it has been very exciting to watch our page grow from just a few hundred followers to where we are now.

From the early days with Jillian Reilly as co-host of our podcast, Courtney Sulfaro assisting with graphics and Miki Garcia writing stories for our website, a lot of people helped get us to where we are today. These individuals joined when we might not have been worthy of their expertise, and for that, I am truly thankful. And thank you as well to Abby Sheklow, who made essential contributions during her time with Lax Extras. These wonderful individuals will forever be part of our success.

I also want to thank the amazing players and coaches who have always been open to interview requests. So many could have easily said no and turned a blind eye to such a small page, but they did not. It is these wonderful humans that I admire and appreciate more than they will ever know.

Celebrating this milestone would not be possible without the support of so many, including parents and fans. To each of you, the messages of support do not go unnoticed. While there are too many to mention, we always value your support and feedback. And thank you for the laughs on Instagram; I especially enjoy those.

Whether you have been a supporter for a few days or a few years, thank you. Karson, Cynthia and I are thrilled to have so much support. It inspires us every day; we are always striving to do better by you. Again, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement in the near future that will mark a new era of Lacrosse Extras!
